Our Story

In late 2019, we recognised a clear gap in the market for high-quality, comfortable short-term accommodation in Stoke-on-Trent. Visitors, contractors, and professionals working in the area were often left choosing between impersonal hotels or poorly equipped rentals. Having experienced this frustration first-hand, we set out to raise the standard and founded Truestays® with one clear aim: to create places people genuinely enjoy staying in.

One of our co-founders, Ollie, previously worked within a traditional letting agency, where he gained valuable insight into the local property market. During this time, he consistently saw demand from guests for a high-quality yet affordable short-let option that offered more space, comfort, and flexibility than hotels. At the same time, landlords were increasingly interested in short-lets but struggled to find a reliable company they could trust to manage them properly. Many wanted the benefits of short-term letting without the stress, risk, or time commitment that came with self-management.

These two problems sat side by side, and Truestays® was created to solve both.

What started as a small local operation has since grown into the region’s leading provider of serviced accommodation. Today, we offer a carefully curated collection of spacious apartments and family homes, all located in practical, well-connected areas. As demand grew, so did we, expanding our services across the North West of England while maintaining the same hands-on, detail-focused approach that defined us from day one.
