Short-let & Airbnb Management

Rather than guessing what your property might earn, why not get actual projections based on your actual property? We will use our own data in combination with market analysis tools to provide you with detailed estimates for revenue & costs.

What is an Airbnb Superhost?

Superhosts are experienced hosts who provide a shining example for other hosts, and extraordinary experiences for their guests.

Once a host reaches Superhost status, a Superhost badge will automatically appear on their listing and profile to help you identify them.

We check Superhosts’ activity four times a year to ensure that the programme highlights the people who are most dedicated to providing outstanding hospitality.

What are the benefits to being an Airbnb Superhost?

Airbnb Superhost status is a scheme created to encourage hosts to provide the best possible stays for guests, which in turn helps to grow the platforms status and improve reputation. In return to hosts, Airbnb presents hosts with Superhost status to guests as the best-of-the-best. Here are some of the benefits to being an Airbnb superhost…

Instant Credibility

80% of Airbnb listings have a rating of 4.5 stars (out of 5) or above. This can make it difficult for potential guests to easily distinguish the professional hosts from the rest.

By having the Superhost status, you are able to distinguish yourself from the crowd and establish a sense of quality and trust between you and potential guests.

Once you have been awarded the status, your listings will display the superhost badge & the title “superhost” next to your listings and your profile as you can see in the images below for one of our properties.

Increased Visibility

Airbnb’s algorithms are more likely feature listings run by Superhosts to guests in the search results & emails marketing campaigns. There is also a filter that guests can select that displays Superhost listings only.

However the impact of achieving the Superhost status on your listing’s visibility appears to be smaller than many expect. An AirDNA study found that there was only 5% improvement in listing traffic for Superhost properties. An increase is still an increase though.

Exclusive Rewards & Benefits

Airbnb also provides Superhosts with a few direct rewards. Superhost’s get an extra 20% on top of the usual bonus when you refer new hosts. In addition to this, after each year as a Superhost, you’ll get a $100 travel coupon. Furthermore, Superhosts that were impacted by the coronavirus pandemic were eligible to apply for a grant as part of Airbnb’s $17m Superhost Relief Fund.

How do I become an Airbnb Superhost?

Quality

Superhosts have a 4.8 or higher average overall rating based on reviews from their Airbnb guests in the past year. Guests know they can expect outstanding hospitality from these hosts.

Experienced

Superhosts have completed at least 10 stays in the past year or 100 nights over at least 3 completed stays. Your guests can feel confident staying with an experienced host.

Responsive

Superhosts respond to 90% of new messages within 24 hours. When guests ask you questions, they know that a quick response is only a message away.

Reliable

Superhosts cancel less than 1% of the time, not including extenuating circumstances. This means 0 cancellations for hosts with fewer than 100 reservations in a year. Rare cancellations mean peace of mind for guests.
